I consider it a great honor to be able to join people at a time in their lives when healing, growth and lasting change are actively sought.  My approach to counseling includes tools from a wide variety of therapy models, and is chosen based on the unique needs of each individual.  I incorporate motivation, insight, and empowerment at the core of every counseling plan with the desire to cultivate a sense of ownership and confidence within my clients as they move toward their values and goals.

I received my Bachelors degree in Communication from the College of Charleston and graduated with distinction with a Masters degree in Professional Counseling from Liberty University.  I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas as well as a National Certified Counselor.

I have worked in both non-profit agencies and private practice settings helping individuals move through the impact of various traumas, disorders, and challenges. I have worked extensively with domestic abuse, sexual assault, depression, anxiety, weight loss surgery, and the full spectrum of eating disorders.  I have built my specialties to encompass the common themes of challenges that I have experienced my clients striving to overcome.
